Valour captain Raphael Ohin is set to leave the club for a European transfer, following the suspension of operations. The 30-year-old midfielder has been with Valour since 2019 and is the all-time appearance leader for the club. Ohin has made 108 appearances for Valour through all competitions, recording two goals and two assists. He endured a long spell on the sidelines following an ACL tear ahead of the 2022 CPL season, with his return a year later seeing him suffer a second injury in a springtime cup match against the TSS Rovers. Ohin returned to the pitch for Valour in '24 – as team captain, no less – and later made 28 appearances in the club's final season. With Valour FC never reaching playoff heights, Ohin's new chapter in Ireland represents a new opportunity for the veteran defensive midfielder to lift silverware in his professional career.
